Extinosad™ Aerosol for Wounds is registered for the treatment and prevention of blowfly strike in mulesing, marking and other wounds of sheep. It contains the powerful active ingredient spinosad.
Spinosad has a unique mode of action1 which results in rapid knockdown of maggots, including maggot strains which are resistant to organophosphates.
It also contains an antiseptic to help prevent infection and a scourable blue colouring to assist with application.
Prior to use, please consult the product label for complete instructions.
Will irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Wash hands after use. When using the prepared spray wear elbow-length PVC gloves. After each days use, wash gloves. After treatment wait until sheep are dry before rehandling.
MILK: DO NOT USE on ewes that are producing or may in the future produce milk or milk products for human consumption.
