Half Spoon Snaffle w/Hard Rubber Mullen Mouth

The mouthpiece is solid steel, covered with hard rubber.

Sometimes referred to as a “half cheek” snaffle, this model is popular in harness racing.

The spoons hang below the mouthpiece to prevent the bit being pulled through the horse’s mouth and their position means that they are less likely to get caught up in the mouth or reins.

The soft rubber mouth is reinforced with a stainless steel cable and offers a softer alternative to a plain Mullen mouth.
